Important Disclaimer Regarding Pet Accommodation
While we are proud to offer a pet-inclusive recovery environment, we cannot guarantee accommodation for every pet in every circumstance. Each application is reviewed on a case-by-case basis, and acceptance is at our sole discretion.
Due to liability constraints, insurance requirements, and our responsibility to maintain a generally safe, pro-recovery environment for all residents, we reserve the right to decline pets based on the following factors:
Breed restrictions. Certain breeds, including but not limited to pit bull terriers, rottweilers, and other breeds subject to insurance limitations, may not be approved for residency. This applies regardless of the individual animal's history or temperament.
Behavioral concerns.
Pets with documented or observed aggression, excessive barking, destructive tendencies, unmanaged anxiety, or any behavior that could pose a risk to staff, residents, or other animals will not be accepted. Pets that become disruptive after move-in may be asked to leave the premises.
The pet's medical and care requirements.
All pets must be current on vaccinations, spayed or neutered where applicable, and free of communicable conditions. Owners are fully responsible for the daily care, feeding, exercise, and veterinary needs of their animal during their stay.
Resident welfare.
If a pet is determined to be causing significant disruption to the recovery environment or the wellbeing of other residents, we reserve the right to request alternative arrangements for the animal.
Owners assume full responsibility and liability for any damage, injury, or incident caused by their pet during their stay. We encourage prospective residents to be transparent about their pet's breed, size, temperament, and history during the intake process so we can make an informed decision together about fit.
Occupancy Limits
Although we'd love to be able to accommodate the whole world, due to occupancy guides and regulations our home may at times be at capacity. We may at times partner with a few other local homes to try to accommodate more people and their pets! However their guidelines may differ at times.
Our goal is to welcome a variety of pets whenever possible. But the safety and recovery of every person under our roof comes first, and we appreciate your understanding of the limits this creates.
