Amenities Available
Our sober living home in Philadelphia offers various amenities such as nice, modern themed furniture, indoor and outdoor lounge areas and designated pet-friendly spaces within the premises.

Residents are responsible for the care and well-being of their pets while staying at our sober living house. It is essential to ensure proper care, feeding, and exercise for your furry companions.

Rules
Living Guideline
Our pet-friendly sober living home has specific rules to ensure a harmonious environment for all residents and their pets. Understanding and adhering to these guidelines is essential for a positive communal living experience.
House Rules
Sobriety & Safety

Absolutely no drugs, alcohol, or mind-altering substances permitted on the property.

Prescription medications must be declared, properly stored, and taken only as prescribed.

Regular and random drug/alcohol testing is mandatory. Failure or refusal to test may lead to immediate discharge.
Curfew

Residents must observe curfew: 10:30PM on weekdays, 12AM on weekends.

Adjustments can be requested, such as for work schedules, in advance from the house manager.
Recovery Participation

Attendance at house meetings and recovery/support groups (e.g., 12-step, outpatient, group therapy) is required. 3 AA or NA meetings a week minimum. Sunday house AA meeting may count for one of your meetings.

Active community participation and peer support are expected.
Chores & Cleanliness

Shared and personal spaces must be kept clean and sanitary.

All residents are assigned rotating chores.

Maintain respectful hygiene standards in all pet and non-pet areas.
Financial Responsibility

Rent and shared expenses are paid on schedule.

Proof of employment, job search, or educational engagement may be required.
Accountability & Structure

Residents must sign in and out or alert staff of their whereabouts.

Daily schedules and outside commitments must be communicated to house staff.
Respectful Conduct

Treat housemates, staff, and visitors with respect; no violence, bullying, threats, or discrimination will be tolerated.

Quiet hours enforced from 10:30PM to 9:30AM daily.
No Stealing or Property Damage

Theft or intentional destruction of property leads to immediate discharge.

Common and personal items should be respected at all times.
Pet Policy & Rules
A pet-friendly environment is a privilege and requires additional structure for the safety and comfort of all residents (and their pets).

Pet Approval:

Only approved pets are permitted. All pets must be declared during the application process. At the time we are not permitting pitbulls or similar terrier breeds.

Pets must be under owner supervision at all times (leashed, crated, or in designated areas as appropriate).

Pet Supervision:

Active pets, such as larger dogs, must be under owner supervision or designated room mate supervision at all times (leashed, crated, or in designated areas as appropriate).

This does not apply to cats or caged animals such as hamsters.

Care and Cleanliness:

Pet owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pet—indoors and outdoors—immediately.

All pet waste must be properly disposed of.

Noise and Behavior:

Persistent noise (barking, scratching) or aggressive behavior is not tolerated.

Owners must address any issues immediately, or risk loss of pet privileges. Or we may ask you to find other living arrangements for the following month.

Health, Hygiene & Safety:

Regular grooming and flea/tick prevention are required.

Pets displaying illness or behavioral issues may require vet clearance to remain.

Pet Deposit and Insurance:

A refundable or non-refundable pet deposit may apply.

Proof of liability insurance for certain breeds may be required.

Resident Courtesy:

Owners are expected to coordinate with housemates regarding allergies and comfort.

Common areas must remain accessible and safe for all residents.
